I am passionate about helping mothers create their ideal birth, by offering physical and emotional support prior to, and during labor and delivery. I recognize that birth is a beautiful and natural part of life, and I would be honored to help you in this journey!

What is a doula (doo-lah)?
A woman who is trained to assist another woman during childbirth and who may provide support to the family after the baby is born.

  • Free no obligation consultation
  • 2 Prenatal visits
  • Unlimited support via text, phone, and email during pregnancy, and after birth
  • Assistance writing a birth plan, if desired
  • Assistance in finding current research regarding pregnancy, labor/delivery, and more
  • I will be on call from 37 weeks (in the event of premature labor I will do my best to attend)
  • Support in the atmosphere of your choice; home, birth center, or hospital
  • Support at home before going to the birth center, or hospital
  • During labor I will offer physical, emotional, (and if desired spiritual) support; comfort measures, encouragement for positions to keep labor moving and bringing baby down, reminders to stay hydrated, etc
  • Depending on the level of my involvement, I offer birth photography as well
  • Immediate postpartum and breastfeeding support, if needed
  • 1 Postpartum visit within 2 weeks


As a doula I do NOT:
  • Perform clinical or medical tasks
  • Make decisions for you
  • Speak to medical personnel on your behalf
  • Take the role of your partner
